Hi! I’m Semira

I’m glad you’ve stopped by to learn a little about me. I am a Photographer who is absolutely and completely enamored with the arts. My love for photography began during childhood when I received my first camera (a polaroid) at the age of six. After snapping my first photo, I was completely captured by photography. My skill and passion for the craft has since grown and will forever be a part of my identity.

I find it important to approach photography in a manner that juxtaposes the conventional and unconventional. The strategic use of these qualities aids in the production of captivating images. Through my artistic process, I challenge myself to meditate within my surrounding environment and notice beauty, simplicity, and obscurity. It is of personal importance that I give myself the freedom to experiment with various types of photography, whilst continuing to incorporate my personality and unique style into my work. My love for the process and outcome of photography is what motivates me to create.
